The Inventory module provides tools for managing items, their attributes, suppliers, and sub-items within the Comserv application.

Inventory Overview

Inventory Management in Comserv involves tracking and managing all physical assets and their components:

• Stock Levels: Monitor current stock levels to ensure adequate supply.
• Reordering: Automate or manage manual reorder processes when stock falls below set thresholds.
• Supplier Links: Associate items with one or more suppliers for procurement.

Item Management

Item Management features include:

• Item Creation: Add new items with attributes like name, description, color, and images.
• Item Modification: Update existing item details including stock status, pricing, and attributes.
• Item Deletion: Remove items no longer in use from the inventory system.

Supplier Management

Supplier Management involves:

• Supplier Registration: Add new suppliers with contact details, lead times, and product offerings.
• Supplier Updates: Modify supplier information, including contact changes or updated product lists.
• Supplier-Item Association: Link items to suppliers for easy procurement and pricing updates.

Sub-Items

Sub-items management allows for:

• Dependency Tracking: Track which items are composed of what sub-items, ensuring all components are available.
• Availability Checks: Automatically check the availability of sub-items when an item is ordered or assembled.
• Reordering Sub-Items: Trigger reorders for sub-items when they run low, ensuring continuous production or assembly.
